Dr. Alison Norrington is an internationally recognised author, experience designer and story strategist with more than 25 years’ experience working across fiction, screen, audio and immersive storytelling. She is the founder of Storycentral, a London-based creative studio focused on developing original IP and narrative-driven experiences for publishers, production companies, cultural institutions and global brands.
Her work explores how story design can deepen audience engagement across physical and digital environments. Alison has collaborated on projects ranging from narrative frameworks for museum galleries and visitor experiences to brand storytelling ecosystems and emerging immersive formats.
Past collaborations include design work with organisations such as Disney Imagineering, the Natural History Museum, and De Beers / Forevermark, where she has helped teams integrate narrative thinking into spatial design, visitor flow and audience interaction.
Alison holds an Honorary Doctor of Arts and regularly contributes to industry and academic discussions on storytelling, experience design and the future of audience engagement.
